INTEGRATED SMART CITY STRATEGIES : PUTRAJAYA’S DIGITAL BLUEPRINT & KL’S ECO INITIATIVES
This seminar will focus on the latest smart city initiatives in Putrajaya and Kuala Lumpur, highlighting urban development and sustainable environmental management. The first session will introduce the digital platform "OSC 4.0," aimed at streamlining development processes and achieving green city goals through collaboration between the government and private sector. The following sessions will cover various projects, such as river restoration, electric buses, improvements in public transport using real-time control centers, and urban farming initiatives led by local communities, all of which aim to balance environmental conservation with improving the quality of life for residents.
Additionally, sessions on Sepang International Circuit and KLSC facilities will be included. Sepang International Circuit features a 5.543 km FIA Grade 1 circuit, ideal for international motorsports events. KLSC offers world-class venues for sports, entertainment, and community events, providing opportunities for branding and commercial ventures, with flexible spaces under the slogan "Here, Everything is Possible."

KL COMMAND AND CONTROL CENTRE (KLCCC)
The Kuala Lumpur Control & Command Centre (KLCCC) in Bukit Jalil plays an important role in helping to provide real-time information related to traffic congestion, accidents, or vehicle breakdowns to DBKL's internal departments and relevant agencies in addressing any possibilities by taking appropriate actions immediately.

A total of 5 000 CCTV cameras have been installed across 2 100 kilometers of roads and public areas in Kuala Lumpur. These cameras are equipped with advanced AI features, complemented by the development of a "City Manager" application. This application provides real time monitoring capabilities, enabling DBKL's internal departments to access accurate and timely information on public law violations. Promoting sustainability across environmental, social, and economic dimensions.

RIVER OF LIFE (ROL), BLUE POOL & HERITAGE TRAILS
The "River of Life & Heritage Trails" project in Kuala Lumpur focuses on revitalizing the Klang and Gombak rivers and connecting historical areas with the revitalized riverfronts. This initiative aims to improve water quality, enhance accessibility, and create public spaces along the rivers, while also preserving and highlighting Kuala Lumpur's heritage through walking trails and heritage sites.

GOKL BUS
GOKL offers an eco friendly, affordable, and innovative transportation option in Kuala Lumpur. With a fleet of 86 electric buses supplied by a local manufacturer with over 50 years of experience in bus production, GOKL provides a clean and sustainable travel solution for locals and visitors. Malaysians and children under 12 enjoy free rides, while non citizens pay only RM1 for unlimited travel per trip. GOKL buses are designed to be user friendly, connecting to train stations and stopping at popular attractions such as KLCC, Pasar Seni , and Menara KL. It’s a green, cost effective, and convenient way to explore the city.

PERDANA LAKE PARK & TITIWANGSA LAKE PARK
Taman Tasik Titiwangsa has an area of ​​46.13 hectares or 114 acres located 3 km from the city center and was officially opened on 1 February 1980 by the late Prime Minister Tun Hussein Onn. This area is a natural area where there is a former mine pond and an open area that is now planted with flowers and shade trees.

The Kuala Lumpur City Hall has been actively developing abandoned mine areas in addition to providing recreational areas in open spaces and housing to encourage recreational activities among all levels of residents around the Federal Territory. In 2019, this park has been completely upgraded by applying various elements that are suitable for the citizens of the city to come for recreation. This park is also the main icon that must be visited by tourists from home and abroad if they are in Kuala Lumpur.

Apart from leisure and recreation activities, Taman Tasik Titiwangsa is also a choice location for photographers for 'outdoor shooting' because the scenery is very calm and beautiful with skyscrapers in the background.

KUALA LUMPUR UNDERGROUND UTILITY DATA CENTRE (KLUDC)
Kuala Lumpur Underground Utility Data Centre or commercially known as KLUDC is a holistic system develop for Jabatan Penilaian dan Pengurusan Harta (JPPH) along with data of Jabatan Pengurusan Maklumat (JPM) DBKL. KLUDC consists of multiple web application to administer the underground utility mapping in Kuala Lumpur comprehensively. In addition, KLUDC will facilitate the sharing of information related to the mapping of underground utilities in Kuala Lumpur through the display of Geospatial interactive web applications among departmental users at DBKL. KLUDC also enables DBKL to access and have control over the web application in coordinating, administering, managing and monitoring the data of underground utility maps regularly.

USED BEVERAGE CARTON RECYLING PROJECT @ PUTRAJAYA
Waste-to-Wealth / Recycling Economy

Involves activities related to collecting used beverage cartons (UBC) and processing them into eco-friendly materials known as poly aluminum boards (PolyAI), roofing materials, and recycled paper. PolyAI can be used to build various structures, furniture, and souvenirs.

CROWN JEWEL OF SOUTH EAST ASIA MOTORSPORTS:  PETRONAS SEPANG INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT
Sepang International Circuit offers a wide range of facilities. Firstly, its 5.543 km FIA Grade 1 circuit accommodates international races such as F1 and MotoGP. The south and north track options are used for smaller events, testing, and driver training. There are over 30 pit garages equipped with power supply, lighting, and direct pit lane access. The race control tower features advanced monitoring and timing systems. Medical and safety services are well-equipped, with an on-site medical centre, ambulances, and fire and rescue teams.

For hospitality, there are Paddock Club suites, corporate suites, and a grandstand with over 130,000 seats, as well as a fully equipped media centre. Additionally, there are dedicated facilities for vehicle testing and driver training, a motorsport museum, retail shops, and restaurants.

PUTRAJAYA LAKE AND WETLAND
This program aims to provide nature-based solutions to enhance environmental quality, health, and well-being. Putrajaya Lake, covering 400 hectares, was created by inundating the valleys of Sungai Chuau and Sungai Bisa, with construction starting in 1998 and completed in 2002. While it was primarily designed to enhance the aesthetic appeal of Putrajaya, the lake is also planned for use in sports, recreation, and as a tourist attraction. Putrajaya Wetland, Malaysia’s first man-made wetland and the largest constructed freshwater wetland in the tropics, began construction in March 1997 and was completed in August 1998. This 197-hectare project transformed oil palm land into a wetland ecosystem, designed and built using modern technology and strict environmental management methods.
